We welcome your school or educational organization to join us for…
The ACM’s Aerospace Alley® Future Workforce Fair on November 10, an event designed to engage students at the middle and high school levels and raise awareness about the modern manufacturing and aerospace industries.
The goal is to make students – and their teachers, counselors, parents, and communities – aware of the broad opportunities and well-paying careers in the local aerospace industry. Those attending will have the opportunity to speak with over 90 local aerospace firms to learn about the valuable career opportunities that exist in the industry and discuss the expectations employers have when hiring. Attendees see first-hand leading-edge manufacturing technologies that are being used across Connecticut.
Nearly 1,200 middle and high school and college students and educators attended our previous fair. Teachers have commented this is their best class field trip of the entire school year!
There is no cost for schools to participate. ACM will also provide parking free for school buses at the Connecticut Convention Center.
