Bio
Nicole, in her 20th year as a middle school science teacher, sparks creativity, curiosity, and exploration in every student she encounters. Her studies in STEM education started at URI with her undergrad and continued at UHart earning her M.Ed. Beyond teaching, her passion for science follows her in all aspects of her life as a swim coach, to her gardens, to hikes in local parks with her family.

Amy’s passion is teaching about the natural world and the molecular machinery that controls it.
Bio
Amy promotes access to biotechnology as a tool to further understand and manipulate living systems, key to solving some of today’s most urgent health issues, such as COVID-19. Her focus is on developing inclusive curriculum by adapting existing activities to engage a larger and diverse audience of learners. Her student-centered emphasis is on effective communication, problem solving, and self-advocacy in science and technology.
